The British shoe manufacturer Crockett & Jones got awarded the status of an official supplier to the British Crown, the „Royal Warrant“.
In July, the Northampton traditional shoemaker announced that the heir to the throne, Prince Charles awarded the Royal Warrant to the company, founded in 1879, already back in April 2017.
At present, three members of the British Royal Family award a „Royal Warrant“. It is a brand hallmark and regularly result to revenue increases. „The Royal Warrant indeed usually brings a big boost in sales, particularly in the export market“ says Richard Peck, Secretary of the Royal Warrant Holders Association. The seal is awarded for five years, the companies are not allowed to disclose any of the particular circumstances dealing with the Royal Household.
Crockett & Jones is a fifth generation family business and manufactures quality shoes, especially for men. The production is done partly by hand, partly by over 100 year old machines. Lately, the company attracted public attention delivering shoes to the two latest James Bond movies without being a commercial marketing partner.
